WHY RECD REQUIRED FOR DG SET
- CAQM released Addendum to Direction 76 adding DG sets from 61 KW to 125 KW in RECD Category.
- CAQM released Standard Schedule for Environment Compensation (EC) Charges in Closure Directions issued by the Commission – Violations related to DG Sets are also covered in the Schedule
- CAQM released Direction 76 on 29.09.2023 directing for adoption of the Schedule for regulated operations of DG sets (superseding all earlier directions regulating operations of DG sets)
- CPCB released notification for Type Approval on 1st Feb 2022
- CAQM Released Notification on 8th Feb 2022
- SPCB of respective states Released Notifications Thereafter
- In August 2019, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) issued an order, mandating the utilization of Retrofit Emission Control Technologies and Dual Fuel Kits for diesel generator sets.
